The LinkedIn Compiler Experts Group

One of the nice features of LinkedIn is that you are informed when someone in your network joins a group. For example, I noticed yesterday that David Edelsohn, a colleague from my days at IBM Research, had joined the Compiler Experts group. David is CTO for GCC technology at IBM.

I joined the group. There are over sixty members, many of them from IBM, especially the Toronto Lab, home of the legendary”Tobey” compiler group.

I have just invited over twenty of the members to join my LI network, and have re-ordered my group listing to put this group at the top of my group list.

It’s a great group, and I invite my fellow self-proclaimed compiler experts to join. The more the merrier.
